Providence is a county in Rhode Island. It was formed in 1703. The towns encompassed in Providence are Burrillville, Central Falls, Cranston, Cumberland, East Providence, Foster, Glocester, Johnston, Lincoln, North Providence, North Smithfield, Pawtucket Providence, Scituate, Smithfield, and Woonsocket.
