Prince William is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1731 from the following county/ies: Stafford/King George. Prince William began keeping birth records in 1864, marriage records in 1859, and death records in 1864. It began keeping land records in 1731, probate records in 1734, and court records in 1731.
