Powell is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1852 from the following county/ies: Clark/Estill/Montgomery. Powell began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1852, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1864, probate records in 1864, and court records in 1864.
