Posey is a county in Indiana. It was formed in 1814 from the following county/ies: Warrick/Knox/Gibson . Posey began keeping birth records in 1882, marriage records in 1814, and death records in 1882. It began keeping land records in 1812, probate records in 1815, and court records in 1815.
