Owsley is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1843 from the following county/ies: Clay/Estill/Breathitt. Owsley began keeping birth records in 1843, marriage records in 1852, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1844, probate records in 1930, and court records in 1923*.
