Newaygo is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1840 (1851) from the following county/ies: Oceana/Mackinac *Kent/*Ottawa. Newaygo began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1851, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1840, probate records in 1880, and court records in 1893.
