Cemetery records for almost every county in the state of Nevada can be found on microfilm through the FHL and at the Las Vegas FHC. Volume one of Richard B. Taylor's The Nevada Tombstone Record Book (Las Vegas: Nevada Families Project, 1986) covers most of Southern Nevada with the promise that volume 2 will cover the rest of the state when it is published. The website www.interment.net has a growing collection of tombstone transcripts as does the Nevada GenWeb Project.
