Moore is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1784 from the following county/ies: Cumberland. Moore began keeping birth records in 1913, marriage records in 1851, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1787, probate records in 1783, and court records in 1784. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 905, Carthage 28327-0905.
