Montgomery is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1779 from the following county/ies: Anson. Montgomery began keeping birth records in 1913, marriage records in 1779, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1769, probate records in 1785, and court records in 1807. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 425, Troy 27371-0425. On the attached map, Montgomery is located at D4. Record loss, 1835. Records fragmented.
