Monroe is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1815 from the following county/ies: Creek Cession/Washington. Monroe began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1833, and death records in 1908. It began keeping land records in 1833, probate records in 1833, and court records in ?.
