Metcalfe is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1860 from the following county/ies: Monroe/Adair/Barren/Cumberland/Green. Metcalfe began keeping birth records in 1860, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1861. It began keeping land records in 1868, probate records in 1865, and court records in 1868.
