Mercer is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1786 from the following county/ies: Lincoln. Mercer began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1774, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1779, probate records in 1779, and court records in 1786. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 426, Harrodsburg 40330-0426.
