Mecklenburg is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1762 from the following county/ies: Anson. Mecklenburg began keeping birth records in 1913, marriage records in 1783, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1762, probate records in 1713, and court records in 1774.
