Marengo is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1818 from the following county/ies: Choctaw Cession. Marengo began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1819, and death records in 1906. It began keeping land records in 1820, probate records in 1818, and court records in 1917. For more information, contact the county at 101 East Coast Avenue PO Box 48066 Linden 36748.
