Madison is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1851 from the following county/ies: Buncombe/Yancey. Madison began keeping birth records in 1913, marriage records in 1851, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1851, probate records in 1851, and court records in 1837.
