Madison is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1818 from the following county/ies: Cape Girardeau/Ste. Genevieve. Madison began keeping birth records in 1883'1900, marriage records in 1821, and death records in 1883'1900. It began keeping land records in 1819, probate records in 1821, and court records in 1827.
