Mackinac is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1818 from the following county/ies: Wayne. Mackinac began keeping birth records in 1873, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1873. It began keeping land records in 1785, probate records in 1851, and court records in 1808. For more information, contact the county at 100 N. Marley St., St. Ignace 49781-1457.
