Logan is a county in West Virginia. It was formed in 1824 from the following county/ies: Giles, Va./Cabell/Tazewell, Va./Kanawha. Logan began keeping birth records in 1872, marriage records in 1872, and death records in 1872. It began keeping land records in 1824, probate records in 1873, and court records in 1824.
