Little Compton is a town in Rhode Island. It was formed in 1682 from the following county/ies: Plymouth Colony. Little Compton began keeping land records in 1747 and probate records in 1747. Court records can be found in Newport. For more information, contact the town at P.O. Box 226, Little Compton 02837. Became part of Rhode Island in 1747.
