Laurel is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1826 from the following county/ies: Whitley/Clay/Knox/Rockcastle. Laurel began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1826, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1826, probate records in 1817, and court records in 1826.
