Kory L. Meyerink, MLS, AG, FUGA, is the editor and primary author of the American Library Association award-winning Printed Sources: A Guide to Published Genealogical Records. A professional researcher in Salt Lake City, he is a Senior Genealogist at ProGenealogists, Inc., where he guides research, writing, and development of Internet genealogy tools. Named a Fellow of the Utah Genealogical Association (UGA) in 2002 for his significant contributions to genealogy, Kory has been accredited since 1980 (Germany, Midwest, Mid-Atlantic, and New England states). He joined the Family History Library as a reference consultant in 1986, later serving as an instructional developer and the library's publications coordinator. Later, as part of the management team at Ancestry.com he managed electronic publications and acquisitions. Past president of the UGA and founding director of the Salt Lake Institute of Genealogy, he has also served as trustee and executive secretary of the Association of Professional Genealogists and on conference committees of the Federation of Genealogical Societies.

Kory wrote or co-wrote multiple chapters of The Source: A Guidebook to American Genealogy. He has also written extensively in magazines and journals and is a contributing editor for Heritage Quest Magazine. A popular lecturer at national, state, and regional conferences, he also teaches for Brigham Young University and Salt Lake Community College and is the German course creator and director at the National Institute of Genealogical Studies at the University of Toronto.
