Kent is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1831 (1836) from the following county/ies: Michilimackinac . Kent began keeping birth records in 1867, marriage records in 1845, and death records in 1867. It began keeping land records in 1860, probate records in 1898, and court records in 1854.
