Jones is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1779 from the following county/ies: Craven. Jones began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1851, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1779, probate records in 1760, and court records in 1807. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 340, Trenton 28585-0340.
