Jackson is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1826 from the following county/ies: Lillard (now Lafayette). Jackson began keeping birth records in 1883'95, marriage records in 1827, and death records in |1883'93. It began keeping land records in 1827, probate records in 1828, and court records in 1828.
