Inyo is a county in California. It was formed in 1866 from the following county/ies: Tulare/Mono. Inyo began keeping birth records in 1905, marriage records in 1873, and death records in 1905. It began keeping land records in 1866, probate records in 1866, and court records in 1866. For more information, contact the county at 168 N Edwards St, Independence 93526. On the attached map, Inyo is located at G6 . Land was later added from counties Mono (1870) San Bernardino (1872) , and Kern (1872) .
