Hickman is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1821 (1822) from the following county/ies: Caldwell/Livingston. Hickman began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1822, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1822, probate records in 1822, and court records in 1822. Although Hickman was created in 1821, county administration didn't become effective until 1822.
