Guilford is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1770/1771 from the following county/ies: Rowan/Orange. Guilford began keeping birth records in 1913, marriage records in 1770, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1771, probate records in 1771, and court records in 1774.
