Greenbrier is a county in West Virginia. It was formed in 1778from the following county/ies: Montgomery, Va./ Botetourt, Va.. Greenbrier began keeping birth records in 1853, marriage records in 1781, and death records in 1853. It began keeping land records in 1780, probate records in 1780, and court records in 1780.
