Gloucester is a county in Virginia. It was formed in 1651 from the following county/ies: York. Gloucester began keeping birth records in 1863, marriage records in 1853, and death records in 1865. It began keeping land records in 1733, probate records in 1862, and court records in 1820. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 329 Gloucester 23061-0329.
