Glastenbury is a town in Bennington county, Vermont. It was formed in 1761 in N.H., though the following competing claims for its origins are Glossenbury. The probate and court district for Glastenbury is Bennington. On the attached map, Glastenbury is shown as 11 in Bennington county.
