Edgecombe is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1741 from the following county/ies: Bertie. Edgecombe began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1760, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1732, probate records in 1730, and court records in 1744.
