DeKalb is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1845 from the following county/ies: Clinton. DeKalb began keeping birth records in 1883'93, marriage records in 1845, and death records in 1883'91*. It began keeping land records in 1836, probate records in 1877, and court records in 1856. For more information, contact the county at 109 W. Main Maysville 64469. On the attached map, DeKalb is located at C2. *Death records extant for 1883'91 and 1942'43. Courthouse burned 1878.
