Cumberland is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1754 from the following county/ies: Bladen. Cumberland began keeping birth records in 1913, marriage records in 1800, and death records in 1913. It began keeping land records in 1752, probate records in 1757, and court records in 1755.
