Craven is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1705 (as Archdale Precinct) from the following county/ies: *precinct of Bath. Craven began keeping birth records in , marriage records in 1740, and death records in . It began keeping land records in 1710, probate records in 1737, and court records in 1712.
