Coosa is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1832 from the following county/ies: Creek cession. Coosa began keeping birth records in 1878, marriage records in 1834, and death records in 1920. It began keeping land records in 1832, probate records in 1834, and court records in ?. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 218, Rockford 35136.
