Coos is a county in Oregon. It was formed in 1853 from the following county/ies: Jackson/Umpqua. Coos began keeping birth records in 1888, marriage records in 1853, and death records in 1906. It began keeping land records in 1854, probate records in 1852, and court records in 1853. For more information, contact the county at 205 N. Baxter, Coquille 97423.
