Colbert is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1867 from the following county/ies: reorganized 1869(Franklin). Colbert began keeping birth records in 1881, marriage records in 1867, and death records in 1881. It began keeping land records in 1867, probate records in 1861, and court records in 1867.
