Clinton is a county in Missouri. It was formed in 1833 from the following county/ies: Clay. Clinton began keeping birth records in 1863'88, marriage records in 1847, and death records in 1883'88*. It began keeping land records in 1833, probate records in 1833, and court records in 1836. For more information, contact the county at 207 N. Main Plattsburg 64477. On the attached map, Clinton is located at C2. *Records incomplete. Birth records extant for 1863'79 and 1883'88 only.
