Clay is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1807 from the following county/ies: Madison/Floyd/Knox. Clay began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1807, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1799, probate records in 1830, and court records in 1809. For more information, contact the county at 316 Main St., Manchester 40962-1265.
