Clay is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1866 from the following county/ies: Randolph/Talladega|. Clay began keeping birth records in 1920, marriage records in 1872, and death records in 1920. It began keeping land records in 1875, probate records in 1876, and court records in 1876. For more information, contact the county at Courthouse Sq./P.O. Box 1120, Ashland 36251 .
