Choctaw is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1847 from the following county/ies: Sumter/Washington. Choctaw began keeping birth records in 1881'93, marriage records in 1871, and death records in 1881'93. It began keeping land records in 1871, probate records in 1871, and court records in ?.
