Chilton is a county in Alabama. It was formed in 1868 from the following county/ies: Autauga/Bibb/Perry/Shelby (Baker). Chilton began keeping birth records in 1908'19, marriage records in 1870, and death records in 1908'19. It began keeping land records in 1868, probate records in 1887, and court records in ?.
