Caldwell is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1841 from the following county/ies: Burke/Wilkes. Caldwell began keeping birth records in 1914, marriage records in 1841, and death records in 1914. It began keeping land records in 1840, probate records in 1830, and court records in 1838.
