Brown is a county in Indiana. It was formed in 1836 from the following county/ies: Bartholomew/Jackson/Monroe. Brown began keeping birth records in 1882, marriage records in 1836, and death records in 1882. It began keeping land records in 1873, probate records in 1837, and court records in 1837.
