Breathitt is a county in Kentucky. It was formed in 1839 from the following county/ies: Clay/Estill/Perry. Breathitt began keeping birth records in 1852, marriage records in 1852, and death records in 1852. It began keeping land records in 1873, probate records in 1873, and court records in 1838.
