Boston is a town in Massachusetts. It was formed in 1630 and can be found in Suffolk county. For more information, contact the county at 1 City Hall Sq., Rm. 241, Boston 02201. On the attached map, Boston is shown as 4 in Suffolk county. The following towns became part of Boston on the date indicated: East Boston (1637), South Boston (1804), Roxbury (1868), Dorchester (1870), Brighton (1874), Charlestown (1874), West Roxbury (1874), and Hyde Park (1912)
