Belmont is a town in Belknap county, New Hampshire. It was formed in 1859 and has gone by the following other name/s: Upper Gilmanton. Its parent county/ies is/are Strafford. For more information, contact the county at P.O. Box 310, Belmont 03220. On the attached map, Belmont is shown as 9 in Belknap. Belmont inherited the original Gilmanton town records when the towns separated.
