Arenac is a county in Michigan. It was formed in 1831 (1883) from the following county/ies: unorganized land *Saginaw. Arenac began keeping birth records in 1883, marriage records in 1883, and death records in 1883. It began keeping land records in 1882, probate records in 1883, and court records in 1883. For more information, contact the county at 120 N. Grove St., Standish 48658-0747. On the attached map, Arenac is located at G7. Arenac was eliminated in 1857 and recreated 1883 from Bay County.
