Anson is a county in North Carolina. It was formed in 1750 from the following county/ies: Bladen. Anson began keeping birth records in 1921, marriage records in 1741, and death records in 1921. It began keeping land records in 1749, probate records in 1751, and court records in 1771. For more information, contact the county at 114 N. Greene St., Rm. 30, Wadesboro 28170-2100.
