Anderson is a county or district in South Carolina. It was formed in 1826 from the following county/ies or district/s: Pendleton. Anderson began keeping birth records in 1915, marriage records in 1911, and death records in 1915. It began keeping land records in 1826, probate records in 1826, and court records in 1826.
